Bitterroot Bears

The Bitterroot Bear Resource Committee is working to reduce conflicts between people and wildlife in the Bitterroot Valley. Our mission is to reduce human/bear conflicts in the area to keep people safe and to preserve what makes Montana special. Wildlife like elk, bighorn sheep, and bears have been in our area for centuries. Having them in our valley makes the Bitterroot unique. We want bears to pass through our area, but not stay.
