BITTERROOT (EAST SIDE)

Grizzly Bear: FWP has received verified reports of grizzly bear tracks in the area. Please contact Jamie Jonkel with any reports of grizzly bear activity in the area. Carry bear spray and know how to use it.

BLACKFOOT and CLEARWATER

Grizzly Bear: FWP continues to receive reports of grizzly bear activity. There was a calf depredation in the Helmville area and Wildlife Services is investigating.

BONNER to CLINTON

Black Bear: FWP received a report of black bears active in the area. Please bring in bird feeders and secure all attractants.

NINEMILE

Grizzly Bear: FWP continues to receive reports of a grizzly bear active in the area. FWP would like anyone who sees a grizzly in the area to contact them with a report by email or by calling 542-5500.

RATTLESNAKE (LOWER)

Black Bear: A black bear is getting into unsecured garbage in the lower Rattlesnake. Contain all garbage in a bear-resistant manner until the morning of pickup.

SEELEY LAKE

Black Bear: A black bear was seen in the area. Please bring in bird feeders and secure all attractants.
